Have you ever wanted to open your own farm?
Specifically chicken farm – and no, not the golden eggs type; just the normal one heh.
Rent a Chook helps you get used to the idea of having your own chicken farm, without having you to commit to buying one permanantly.
(I’m aware that there are such cases for ‘renting’ of other pets, like dogs, cats…but I don’t think it’s available in Singapore..this way, I can persude my mum to get one – sigh.)
You would buy the Eco-Coop package costs $360 (plus delivery) outright which includes a chicken coop, 2 hens, feeder, waterer, food and straws, but you have six weeks to decide if keeping chooks is right for you.

Coops are sold in three sizes to suit your farming tastes.
RentAChook is Sydney-based and they sell flatpack chicken coops around Australia.

Remind me why should I keep a Chook again?
Free, fresh free range eggs, the best you’ve ever tasted!
The best eggs you’ve ever tasted (did I say that before?) up to 6 eggs per chook per week!
The only environmentally sustainable pet for your backyard, turning wastes into food!
They eat all your kitchen scraps, leftover take-away dinners, mouldy cheese and the contents of the ‘land at the back of the fridge’!
They remove weeds from your garden and turn your compost heap over for you!
Kids love them (and they can be tamed)!
Cool. Tell me if you get one from here! =))

Well, there is always putting them in the stew pot if you don’t want to keep them…he he
Lol. At least wait till they lay a fresh egg.
Then you could have sunny-side-up WITH stewed whole chicken!
Wahhahahaaa!
