I hate waiting and queuing – but sometimes it’s inevitable (If you do not have the invite; that is)

Anyhoo…

Hi all,
I don’t want to rain on the sample site parade, but I have to tell everyone about how rude rue la la was to me recently. I made a shipping mistake on my order, and they refused to fix it, wanted to charge me extra for it and sent me a ton of very rude and awful emails that make me want to never shop there again. I am disturbed by this website because in every email they made it seem as if they shouldn’t be bothered with customer service since they want to get things out ‘fast’. I acknowledged that I made the mistake of putting in my old address, and they treated me like dirt. I did the same thing (I just moved) with hautelook.com and they took care of it so quickly and were great about it. I have never had the problems I had with rue la la, who in their final email to me made certain to tell me that I “may not have a place there” should I want to join again. As if. Skip it and go to hautelook or gilt group.

Oh dear lord, Erin, I feel for you!

Your experience with customer service is like mine with HP’s computers.

Their service is so sucky, I swear i’m till the point of strangling their staff’s throat every time I hear from them on the delay of my computer’s repair.

So what happens to the package? Is it with the people now staying at your old house?

Then maybe you could make a trip down to the place to collect it. Or perhaps if it’s shipped by a courier, you could get the tracking number and stuff and contact them direct to change the destination – although i’m not sure if they would allow it.

I pray you get your goods properly!

It’s bad when a company refuses to assist you with your purchase of their items.

Sucks to know if those goods went missing or landed on another person’s hands.

Truth be told, there hasn’t been anything in RLL that facies the pants off me.

But yes! Gilt Groupe totally rocks! I forgot how many items I bought from them already!

And they have a wonderful customer service =)

Do you all realize that people are not just being nice giving you an invite to certain websites?? They get a kick back when you order something! Wake-up people!! Unless they are going to share their profits..you can find a way to be invited from the website without anyone else getting a cut! It would be so nice if people weren’t in this for themselves!! Oh..they didn’t mention that did they?

Which most or all, are referrals-based to keep them (and our fix for fashion!) going.
