I received word that this bag’s design is a prototype for us.
But that doesn’t mean they can save for a decent design logo. We really don’t need to be glorified with ‘Style Council’.
And zips for that matter. I’ll get to that in awhile.
This bag is designed though to be able to detach the flap, presumably to change for another..but will you go out and buy a few designs just to change it?
I doubt it.
Don’t think AGVA has amassed such a huge fan base to make them go crazy with their fancy-shmancy artworks.

I inserted the paper to illustrate that zip which allows you to detach it.
Another thing – I really, REALLY dislike the cheap zippers. I have this thing against lousy zippers.
They are cheap, look cheap and feel like they are going to just fail on you when you need them most. I worry for lousy zippers. Imagine these zippers being used for your Levi’s jeans or any other jeans and you’ll get the idea.
A rule of thumb – get zippers with fat teeth; small ones are more likely to get ’stuck’ halfway. Which basically sucks. Don’t get too fat or oversized ones which would just look comical and childish.
(On a sidenote: I bought a portfolio from Coach and their zippers are just lovely. Will upload a close-up of it soon.)

The underside of the flap we just saw comes with this handy zippered insert for storing..your junk basically.
I would refrain from using this redundant storage as it would be the first thing that makes you bag bulge on first sight – which ain’t gonna be pretty.
Again, the green paper was to illustrate clearly the pouch.

GASP! The horrors. I found out that there was no way to enclose the bag when the flap is detached.
Granted, the designers for this bag must have badly wanted consumers to need to put on a flap which explains why there wasn’t another zip/velcro to prevent items from falling out when one runs for the bus.
If this was the case, that people must have a flap to keep their items safe…then why make it detachable!?
Sometimes designers don’t think about the affordances for their designs and put in waay to many redundant functions – only to shock their consumers later.
There should be a zip/velcro for the inner portion for consumers to choose between needing a flap or not.
Again, without one, in the long run, when your velcro becomes loose, and you have alot of items, and you have to run or tilt your bag – you might just find your wallet gone. This bag makes your load lighter! (not in a good way)

The bag looks like this without their flap. But of course you will not be able to carry it this way, cos nothing’s stopping your precious items from spilling out.
I just might use the bag like this. Then again due to its false affordance of their detachable flap, I am not able to cos I would think anyone’s stuff would cost more than the bag for them to lose it, e.g. laptops? They’ll get wet in the rain.
Therefore even with flaps on, and no inner zips/velcro, rainwater will still seep in regardless of whether your bag’s outer covering is waterproof or not. My goodness. Brains, anyone?

(Someone give me an idea for concluding sentences…mine’s so clichéd! LOL)
