I’m pretty sure you’re all pretty familiar with his In the Mood for Love and Happy Together films.
Believe it not, he has a cult following now! His latest endeavor My Blueberry Nights, is his first film in the States.
While the HongKong director was scouting locations for the film, he travelled around the country and shot photographs of potential scene settings.
To coincide with Blueberry‘s April release, Opening Ceremony has designed limited-edition tees, posters and postcards that feature images from Kar-wai’s journey, all of which were used as sets in the film.
As with the cinematography in Kar-wai’s films, the images printed on the Blueberry tees are richly colored and capture a sensuous beauty in the most unlikely of places.
